Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in banquet or hospitality service preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Capable of managing people and time effectively
- excellent communication and listening skills
- ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of up to 6 hours
- understanding of food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food
Job Duties
- Ensure the smooth execution of food and beverage service throughout events
- spend time in the office reviewing upcoming assigned events and banquet event orders
- communicate with event specialists to clarify event details
- prepare event spaces to be clean and ready before vendor arrival
- maintain constant communication with clients to exceed customer expectations
- manage problems and address last-minute changes during events
