Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous cash handling or teller experience preferred
- flexible to work varying schedules including Mondays through Saturdays
- ability to travel across branch locations within Minneapolis and St. Paul
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- must be detail oriented and accurate in handling cash
- proficiency in basic computer use
- bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Hmong) preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in teller or cash handling role preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including alternating Saturdays
- bilingual skills in English/Spanish or English/Hmong preferred
- basic computer proficiency
- knowledge of banking regulations and procedures
- attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service including maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude
- acknowledges and responds immediately to customers
- greets customers by name and uses it in closing
- makes eye contact and demonstrates friendly non-verbal behavior
- thanks customers for their business
- assists with phone answering as needed
- courteously answers customer questions and directs them to other departments
- identifies opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services
- processes customer deposits and withdrawals verifying cash and endorsements
- verifies account information to validate data after transactions
- maintains and balances cash drawer funds according to procedures
- documents all transactions on teller tape to minimize liability
- cashes checks within policy limits upon signature verification
- processes assigned transactions such as mail and night deposits, telephone transfers, money orders, cashier checks, traveler checks, cash advances, savings bonds, currency and coin orders
- sells excess cash to vault teller
- follows all bank regulations affecting teller operations
- adheres to bank security policies
- accepts rent payments for safe deposit boxes
- processes TT&L payments and money orders
- performs special projects as assigned by management
