Job Requirements
- Equipment operation including shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks
- able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- able to work in various temperatures and wet surfaces
- ongoing customer interaction providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- good judgment and ability to work independently
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, request supplies verbally or in writing
- must be able to work shifts varying in length and time including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be 18 years of age or older
- lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
- pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
- walking on uneven ground
- reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
- extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
Job Qualifications
- Experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, and bakery racks
- strong customer service skills
- ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- good judgment and reliability
- ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Performs baking and product preparation
- prepares and fries batter
- finishes fried products
- rotates and stocks bakery products
- plan, set, and maintain bakery cases
- assists customers with questions or requests
- assists in wrapping or bagging products
