Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior baking or pastry experience preferred
- ability to follow directions and work under supervision
- knowledge of or willingness to learn ServSafe food safety standards
- ability to stand for extended periods
- flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties
- Assist with preparing basic pastry and bakery items such as cookies, muffins, brownies, and cakes using standard recipes
- accurately measure, scale, and mix ingredients, following directions from senior bakers or chefs
- support general bakery operations including mixing, cooking/baking, assembly, setup, decorating, labeling, and proper storage of ingredients and finished products
- maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure proper use, cleaning, and storage of tools and equipment
- follow and uphold ServSafe kitchen standards and all food safety and sanitation regulations
- assist with inventory tasks such as tracking supplies and reporting low stock
- collaborate with the baking team to ensure timely production and high-quality service, especially during peak hours and special events
- uphold standards of hospitality, ensuring all guests receive the highest quality food and service
