Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
  • basic knowledge of retail or inventory procedures preferred
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to operate store equipment safely
  • physical ability to assist with unloading trucks and moving equipment
  • ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
  • one year of experience processing and filing merchandise receiving paperwork preferred
  • one year of experience with store inventory receiving and administration preferred
  • six months of experience in warehouse data entry or bookkeeping preferred
  • six months of experience communicating with vendors or customers regarding returns, payments, or contracts preferred
  • six months of retail experience accepting or processing returns preferred

Job Duties

  • Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures
  • assists customers by understanding their needs and demonstrating products
  • responds promptly to customer and employee inquiries
  • communicates product features, benefits, and warranty information
  • processes returns and exchanges ensuring customer satisfaction
  • manages Return to Manufacturer and Centralized Return to Vendor programs including paperwork and vendor communication
  • coordinates with receiving and production teams to maintain stock accessibility
  • participates in maintaining store cleanliness, safety, and security
  • operates store equipment as needed according to assigned roles
  • monitors and logs hazardous materials according to safety guidelines
