Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and walk frequently
  • Ability to work in moderate to high noise environments
  • Must adhere to employee relations reporting protocols
  • Must maintain high work ethic and code of conduct

Job Qualifications

  • High school or G.E.D. graduate preferred
  • Completion of three basic courses in Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program
  • Completion of basic food handling training and local or state-mandated certification where required
  • Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow directions and respond with urgency
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to train and lead others
  • Conflict resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Follow the direction of the General Manager
  • Support General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff
  • Work in all departments and perform all theatre job functions
  • Train and coach team members in their specific job functions
  • Assist in preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager
  • Inspect theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, property, signage, and equipment condition
  • Report building, property, and equipment repair needs to General Manager
  • Ensure team members follow the dress code
  • Interact with guests to improve service and ensure superior customer service
  • Learn and enforce Cinemark’s policies and procedures fairly and consistently
  • Report employee relations issues to General Manager or via the designated reporting protocol
  • Follow high work ethic standards and code of conduct
  • Identify and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • Use personal protective equipment appropriately
  • Adapt to cleaning task requirements
  • Address safety or security issues promptly
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
