  • ability to work in a moderately noisy environment with exposure to wet, humid conditions and moving mechanical parts

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Job Duties

  • assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the fresh foods department
  • assist the department manager with direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department
  • perform duties of baker, fryer, cake decorator, fresh foods clerks, and chef as needed
  • interview and train associates
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • assist in appraising performance
  • reward and discipline associates
  • address complaints and resolve problems
