Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Minimum of one year of server/bartender experience
Organized self starter with ability to follow through on all assigned tasks
Cicerone beer server certification is desired but not required
TIPS certification preferred
Passionate about the craft beer industry
Willingness to continue to learn about our brewery, process, and products as well as other breweries
Able to stand for an entire shift
Able to walk up and down stairs multiple times per shift
Able to shift, move, or slide full kegs if needed
Multitasking skills
Proficient math skills
Tablet based POS platform experience
Clean and organized
Honest and reliable
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Positive attitude
Ability to attend events and festivals to represent WestFax outside of the facility when needed
Able to represent the company professionally at all times during events where drinking is happening
Ability to see opportunities for improvement and willingness to implement improvements
Must be team oriented

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Provide best in class customer service
Facilitate a welcoming friendly atmosphere for all patrons
Set up taproom and beer garden at beginning of shift
Run tap room
Close tap room by yourself
Properly pour beer and serve customers - bar and table service required
Operate POS system
Clean glassware
Upsell merchandise and beer to go
Deep clean taproom including bar and bathrooms
Change kegs
Kindly enforce tap room policies
Manipulate 1/2 BBL kegs by yourself and lift 1/2 BBL kegs using a two person lift
Take trash out daily from all bins
Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
Ability to review IDs of all patrons
