Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper uniform and name tag
- maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling
- comply with company policies, standards, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations
- greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk with a friendly and warm demeanor
- operate the telephone switchboard and meet performance standards
- handle requests for information, mail, and messages efficiently and courteously
- answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation
- provide information about restaurants, transportation, and entertainment
- maintain good communication and teamwork with associates and other hotel departments
- be aware of rates, packages, promotions, and group bookings
- take accurate room reservations and follow rate quoting procedures
- know and assist with emergency procedures
- handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously
- operate Front Desk computer systems proficiently
- ensure proper delivery of packages, mail, and messages
- use proper two-way radio etiquette
- deliver guest items as requested
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of property amenities and local attractions
- perform other duties as assigned including assisting coworkers and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel
