Job Requirements

  • Ability to work overnight with flexible hours
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
  • Ability to receive training on Microsoft Office and Fuel Master software
  • Ability to use smartphone technology for troubleshooting
  • Ability to perform regular equipment audits
  • Ability to professionally communicate with staff and customers
  • Ability to coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to handle scheduling and training logistics
  • Ability to manage fuel inventory and deliveries
  • Ability to perform spill response training
  • Ability to oversee accident and incident reporting
  • Must be flexible to perform additional duties as requested

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work overnight with flexible hours
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card
  • Experience in fueling or petroleum terminal operations
  • Knowledge of fuel distribution tracking systems
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Training capability for team members
  • Problem-solving skills for equipment troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with safety, environmental and spill response procedures
  • Preferred possession of TWIC card
  • Preferred Class A or B CDL with tanker/hazmat endorsement

Job Duties

  • Receive training on and quickly adapt to using Microsoft Office and TICO Fuel User Group programs
  • Generate reports using Fuel Master for customers and management
  • Assist and train employees on Fuel Master Live app usage
  • Troubleshoot issues with tank wagons and flow meter systems
  • Perform regular audits on equipment and employee adherence to procedures
  • Communicate professionally with customer representatives and maintenance shops
  • Track and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment
  • Oversee accurate accident, incident, and near miss reporting
  • Manage training of Charleston Fuel User Group employees including new hires and re-training needs
  • Maintain communication with TICO Fuel User Group manager on operational support
  • Oversee employee scheduling to ensure coverage and safety
  • Organize and review employee paperwork and inspection forms daily
  • Monitor fuel inventory levels and coordinate deliveries
  • Address team issues and customer complaints related to fueling
  • Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations and scheduling
  • Assist in completing nightly dispensing routes
  • Directly oversee all fueling operations ensuring performance standards
  • Develop understanding and training of spill response procedures
  • Communicate supply, employee, and equipment needs with management
  • Maintain communication with TICO's corporate safety director on regulations and safety
  • Obtain HAZ MAT/Haz-Whopper training and certification
