Job Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age required
- partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business
- TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable
- Fuel Operator C training required
- typically involves on-the-job training
- ability to count and calculate for the purpose of cash handling and sales transactions
- ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs
- must report potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- must be 21 years or older to drive for Company business in accordance with BGC Business Driver Policy
- TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable
- Fuel Operator C training required
- ability to count and calculate for cash handling and sales transactions
- ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with customers and partners
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- attentive to potential hazards and able to place warning signs or devices as necessary

Job Duties
- Ensure correct checkout totals for customers by properly keying and scanning items
- maintain accurate money count in register at all times
- monitor, report, and take action regarding suspicious activities, illegal devices, emergencies, fires, and fuel spills
- inspect fuel pumps, ensure proper seals are in place, and maintain hazard free conditions
- answer telephone and transfer calls to appropriate store personnel
- identify need for parking lot maintenance and communicate with management any incidents or concerns occurring on store premises
- maintain proper inventory levels by generating reports, monitoring product levels, restocking or informing store management of necessary reordering
- maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to complaints
- maintain safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to safety procedures and cleaning responsibilities
- adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding sales of restricted items such as tobacco and cannabis-based products
- take precautions when handling objects to avoid damage to products and property
