Job Requirements

  • ServSafe Certification strongly preferred
  • Experience managing a busy kitchen
  • Culinary certification preferred
  • Experience with therapeutic diets is a plus
  • Experience ordering and monitoring supplies

Job Duties

  • Supervise and manage the patient services and retail culinary production teams
  • Engage with team members to ensure the highest levels of food quality in preparation, cooking and serving
  • Supervise production of recipes in accordance with company standards and therapeutic dietary restrictions
  • Follow all HACCP rules for food production / storage
  • Select and develop menus, recipes and other requests
  • Continuously create and oversee new menu options
  • Proactively identify opportunities to nurture client relationships and grow sales
  • Provide outstanding customer service support
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
  • Follow directions and implement instructions from the Executive Chef
  • Listen and effectively respond to the needs of leadership
  • Pursue and complete directives with limited supervision
