Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience in the service industry preferably in luxury hospitality
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- US work authorization or current managerial position at a Four Seasons location
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform a mobile position involving movement within the restaurant and bar area
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of service industry experience preferably in luxury hospitality
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
- Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues
- Proficiency with reservation and restaurant management systems
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and escort them to tables pre-set according to party size and preferences
- Ensure host/hostess stand is well-maintained, answer phone calls professionally, and manage restaurant set-up, station chart, and cover count
- Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction, addressing any issues during the meal with care and compassion
- Resolve customer complaints with hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests, and assist with inquiries regarding hotel services and operations
- Utilize computer systems to manage reservations and contribute to restaurant success
- Assist servers with clearing tables and running food as needed
- Maintain mobility within the restaurant and bar area to support operational needs
