Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4-hour shifts depending on business needs
  • Ability to stand 55 percent of the time and walk 45 percent
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Exposed to temperatures ranging from freezer environments to non-air-conditioned areas
  • Knowledge of MSDS information for materials used
  • Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training
  • Follow company apparel and footwear policy
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly
  • Adherence to emergency evacuation procedures
  • Prohibition of horseplay and running on premises

Job Duties

  • Review work schedule and prepare equipment and supplies
  • Manage production planning
  • Review invoices
  • Produce products for sales floor warmers and hot bar per plan-o-gram and standard operating procedures
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters
  • Complete food safety compliance logs daily
  • Track and record loss using known loss tracking
  • Train team members
  • Make sandwiches, subs, and wraps, label and display them
  • Cook, cut, package, and serve pizza
  • Assist customers, slice meat and cheese, portion deli food, weigh and label items
  • Produce grab and go products
  • Roast and label chicken
  • Clean roaster and dispose oil properly
  • Fry chicken, wrap and label fried chicken
  • Maintain fryer by adding oil and cleaning
  • Clean specified equipment regularly
  • Order smoked program products if applicable
  • Produce smoked products per standard procedures
  • Use cleaning and sanitizing tools properly
  • Perform record-keeping as assigned
  • Track loss, markdowns, and Flashfoods
  • Review orders and upload live freight
  • Execute merchandising programs for prepared foods
  • Plan weekly circular ad
  • Organize sales floor cooler and freezer
