Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food preparation or retail environment is an advantage
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to stand and walk for the majority of shift
  • adherence to food safety standards
  • willingness to participate in mandatory safety training
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
  • team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Review the work schedule and prepare equipment and supplies at shift start
  • manage production planning
  • complete invoice review
  • produce food products for sales floor according to plan-o-gram and procedures
  • clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, and display cases
  • complete daily food safety compliance logs
  • track and record loss using known loss tracking
  • train team members
  • make sandwiches, subs, wraps, label and display them
  • prepare and package pizza using turbo oven
  • assist customers and portion deli items
  • produce grab and go section products
  • roast and label chicken
  • clean roasting equipment
  • fry, label, and wrap chicken parts
  • maintain fryer oil and clean fryer
  • clean specified equipment every four hours
  • order smoked program product if applicable
  • produce smoked products per SOP
  • use cleaning tools to sanitize work areas
  • perform record-keeping tasks
  • track markdowns and Flashfoods
  • perform order reviews
  • upload live freight
  • execute merchandising programs
  • plan weekly circular ad
  • organize cooler and freezer sales floor
