Job Requirements

  • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
  • Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant
  • Manage the reservation system, taking guest bookings and accurately recording details
  • Seat guests promptly and appropriately, considering special requests and preferences
  • Communicate with guests regarding wait times, menu information, and restaurant promotions
  • Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station, ensuring menus and promotional materials are up to date
  • Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth seating and efficient table turnover
  • Monitor and manage the dining room flow, ensuring all guests receive attentive service
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary
  • Assist with coordinating private dining events and special occasions
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
