- high school diploma or equivalent
- physical ability to perform repetitive manual work
- ability to follow directions and work independently
- willingness to submit unofficial transcripts or training certifications during application
- submit official transcripts prior to employment
- credential evaluation for degrees obtained outside the us
- good attendance and reliability

Job Duties
- Sweep, mop, wax and buff floors, halls and stairways
- wash windows, doors and mirrors and polish furniture
- dust woodwork, furniture, venetian blinds, blackboards and other articles
- collect paper and rubbish
- keep lounge clean
- clean and supply restrooms
- observe and report hazardous conditions
- operate cleaning equipment as required
- clean overhead vents and air filters
- maintain a positive working relationship with faculty, supervisors, staff, co-workers, and students
- shovel snow
- deliver packages and messages
- assist in training new custodial personnel
- perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
