Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year relevant cooking experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules including full-time or part-time
  • basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment
  • willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • possess knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, recipes, and equipment used for dining facilities
  • prepare meals according to recipes, dietary guidelines, and residents' preferences
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
  • collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service
  • monitor food quality and portion control
  • adhere to health and sanitation regulations
