Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- minimum availability for 4-hour shifts
- compliance with company safety and PPE policies
- ability to perform repetitive job cycles
- completion of introductory probationary period
- valid work authorization and identification
- commitment to team values and company standards
- willingness to wear assigned clothing
- able to meet physical and ergonomic standards
Job Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- must have valid identification
- able to read, write, and communicate effectively
- complete the company introductory probationary period of 60 days
- meet ergonomic and physical requirements
- able to use or learn to use bakery equipment and tools
- perform all job functions safely
- meet company performance standards including regular attendance
- agree to wear the assigned job-specific clothes and shoes
- preferred 1 year of work experience or technical training
Job Duties
- Review the work schedule and prepare equipment and supplies at the start of the shift
- mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes, and decorate cakes
- take orders, complete orders, and store them appropriately in the bakery cooler
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters
- track and record loss
- demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation work habits
