Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or food and beverage industry preferred
  • Must be able to work early morning hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic cash handling experience
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation is a plus

Job Duties

  • Sincerely greet and welcome guests with a warm and welcoming manner, introducing yourself and offering a beverage
  • Maintain a professional presence at the barista station at all times
  • Process financial/guest transactions in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
  • Know the script, drink menu, and hours of operation
  • Complete pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements
  • Ability to multi-task with the needs of the business
  • Know all pricing, promotions, and discounts that apply to pricing
  • Knowledge of all amenities to properly transact and deliver to its completion
  • Responsibilities for maintaining proper levels of product stock throughout
  • Responsible for ensuring that all soiled dishes are returned to the proper area of stewarding and supplies are placed in their proper area
  • Responsible for opening, closing, and running duties of cash handling policies and cash out process
  • Adhere to all internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Maintains all professional presence at the restaurants entrance at all times
  • Graciously manages the waiting line and effectively and efficiently
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of bar/barista area
  • Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude and appropriate conduct with both guests and teammates at all times
