Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in bar management or leadership
  • knowledge of alcohol service laws
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to train and supervise staff
  • flexible schedule availability
  • physical ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods
  • certification or ability to obtain RBS certification

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Bar Manager or Lead Bartender in a full-service restaurant
  • strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and alcohol service regulations
  • proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
  • effective English communication skills
  • bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • ability to complete RBS certification

Job Duties

  • Manage daily bar operations, including opening, closing, staffing, and shift execution
  • ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and company policies
  • ensure beverage preparation, presentation, and service meet company standards
  • oversee bar workflow during peak periods to support speed, quality, and guest satisfaction
  • coach bartenders on service standards and guest engagement
  • address guest concerns related to bar service and support guest recovery efforts
  • manage guest sentiments via in-person feedback and online review platforms
  • partner with the General Manager to meet sales, cost, and labor goals
