Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing
  • Direct responsibility for food safety and quality systems
  • Knowledge of dairy or dairy ingredients manufacturing
  • Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, FDA and USDA regulations
  • Experience in sanitation and environmental monitoring
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Prior leadership experience in food manufacturing
  • Background in dairy or dairy ingredients manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, FDA/USDA requirements, and third-party audit systems
  • Experience with sanitation, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven ability to train and develop teams to meet high standards

Job Duties

  • Lead the company’s Food Safety and Quality Programs, including SQF, HACCP, USDA, and FDA compliance
  • Guide, mentor, and develop QA supervisors, lab staff, and cross-functional teams
  • Oversee sanitation, housekeeping, pest control, and hygiene zoning programs to ensure a safe, compliant facility
  • Manage customer complaint investigations, non-conformance issues, and preventative actions
  • Direct product traceability, recalls, and foreign material investigations
  • Partner with production to strengthen quality systems and improve reliability of high-quality dairy ingredients
  • Support regulatory and third-party audits, ensuring full compliance
  • Monitor environmental programs, lead training workshops, and build a culture of food safety
