Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- experience performing administrative work including paperwork completion and reconciliation preferred
- prior FSQA technician or document control experience preferred
- prior food manufacturing experience preferred
- knowledge and understanding of applicable FDA/USDA regulations and GMPs preferred

Job Duties
- Cross-trained in all FSQA technician responsibilities for emergency coverage
- assist in creating, reviewing, authenticating, and maintaining food safety documents including SOPs and HACCP/HARPC programs
- maintain facility document registers and related documentation
- act as risk-based preventive control individual ensuring products meet Food Safety Plans
- inform FSQA supervisor of any food safety issues
- implement and manage food safety corrective actions
- ensure proper packaging, shipment, and documentation of product testing samples
- communicate updates and changes to Food Safety programs with site management and FSQA employees
- review and maintain HACCP and Food Safety Plan records and report negative findings
- assist FSQA supervisor in companywide FSQA training and orientation
- conduct weekly and monthly audits such as GMP and pest control
- monitor facilities and personnel daily for compliance
- ensure facility personnel training on GMPs and food safety system elements
- record and report analytical results and data trends
- assist in investigating non-conformance and customer complaints
- host visitors including regulatory and customer reps and third-party auditors
- prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
- maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- ensure excellent attendance and punctuality
- perform tasks assigned by FSQA supervisor
