Job Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of guest related experience in the food and beverage service and/or retail industry
  • Must have at least 2 years supervisory experience
  • Must have experience and knowledge of ABC laws for the legal sale of alcohol
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and/or holidays when required
  • Ability to perform all the duties of this job successfully

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of guest related experience in food and beverage service and/or retail industry or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience
  • Experience and knowledge of ABC laws for legal sale of alcohol

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of employees during the shift
  • Establish and maintain continual education regarding service standards and guest-focused hospitality through preshift meetings, team meetings and throughout service daily
  • Ensure alignment of service focuses with GM and ensure all managers on the leadership team are focusing and promoting these areas of education and development
  • Quality and timely communication to the restaurants leadership team and company leaders via email, Slack, verbal, etc.
  • Manage the atmosphere of the restaurant by ensuring music, lights and temperature create a positive and energetic feel
  • Understand completely all policies, procedure, standard, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and follow established standard operating procedures
  • Ensure safety by identifying and correcting potential unsafe situations immediately
  • Ensure all guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, courteous service
  • Ensure food and products are consistently prepared and served according to restaurant standards
  • Achieve company objectives in service, quality, appearance, sanitation and cleanliness through employee training and a productive work environment
  • Control cash and other receipts adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
  • Continually develop staff in managerial and professional skills
  • Prepare required paperwork timely and organized
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness and working condition of equipment
  • Inform General Manager of policy violations for prompt and fair corrective actions
  • Fully comply with all health, safety and labor regulations
  • Provide advice and suggestions to GM and Senior Manager as needed
  • Check quantity and quality of received products during shifts
  • Oversee proper product storage, labeling, dating, and inventory during shifts
  • Ensure consistency in delivery of the restaurant concept
  • Respond professionally to tough situations
  • Create a motivational environment with open communication
  • Mentor and coach the front of house team
  • Help manage labor hours efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned.
