Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day
- Capability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly
- Willingness to learn and follow restaurant cooking processes
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Reliability and responsibility in food preparation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of health codes, food rotation, labeling, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Precision and speed in task execution
- Familiarity with culinary trends and optimized cooking processes is a plus
- Experience in restaurant cooking preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Cook meats, fish, and other hot food products with precision and efficiency
- Prepare and measure portions of food products before cooking
- Perform final food preparation including plating and garnishing
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and cooking equipment
- Store and rotate food products correctly
- Assist with food preparation during slow periods
- Close the kitchen following proper procedures and checklists
