Job Requirements

  • always follows proper health code requirements food rotation labeling and sanitation practices
  • minimum 1-2 years experience in prep grill or fry cook position
  • responsible for prepping cooking and maintaining kitchen
  • assume responsibility for quality of products served
  • know and comply with portion sizes cooking methods quality standards and kitchen policies
  • stock and maintain food products at line stations
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station including all kitchen equipment
  • prepare items for cooking by portioning battering breading seasoning or marinating
  • handle store and rotate all products properly
  • assist in food prep during off peak periods
  • close kitchen properly and follow closing checklist
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
  • comfortable working with team in fast paced environment
  • accuracy and speed in tasks
  • knowledge of culinary trends helpful
  • ability to work on feet for 8 plus hours
  • able to lift at least 40 pounds regularly

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 1-2 years cooking experience in a full service restaurant
  • knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • ability to stand for 8 or more hours a day
  • ability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • accureatly and efficiently cook meats fish and other hot food products
  • prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
  • perform duties in food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing
  • prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station area
  • follow proper health code requirements food rotation labeling and sanitation practices
  • stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
