Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hotel kitchen or culinary field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Must be able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Capability to work flexible shifts including mornings and evenings
  • Physical ability to stand for long hours
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Able to work AM and PM shifts
  • Two years of previous line experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Refined verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to Hyatt Regency Waikiki's standards
  • Operate and maintain fry stations efficiently
  • Follow safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen
  • Assist with stock and inventory management
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors
  • Work quickly and accurately under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
