Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work both am and pm shifts
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under supervision and training

Job Qualifications

  • Able to work am and pm shifts
  • Two years of previous line experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Capable of performing all basic cooking skills
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen
  • Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Refined verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to recipes and standards
  • Operate a single cooking station within the kitchen
  • Ensure proper cooking techniques and food safety standards are followed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively
  • Participate in training and supervision to improve skills
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
