Job Requirements
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required skills and abilities
- ability to obtain or renew government-required licenses or certifications
- ability to work in hot, noisy, and wet conditions
- physical dexterity to use kitchen knives and slicers
- ability to maintain attendance according to standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- good knowledge of sanitation standards
- ability to maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team
- experience using kitchen equipment such as deep fryer, broiler, oven and mixer
Job Duties
- Prepare food safely according to recipe standards
- slice, chop, dice, cook and prepare food in a timely manner
- ensure food items are visually appealing
- maintain adequate par level of food inventory
- communicate with supervisor throughout the shift
- perform side work including replenishing condiments and restocking banquet shelves
- check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
