Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior experience as a prep cook at a hotel restaurant or institutional kitchen preferred
- Ability to expand and condense recipes
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- Working knowledge of American standard weights and measures
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Food handlers card
- Regularly push or pull up to 75lbs
- Regularly lift and/or carry at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
- Constantly standing and walking
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

Job Duties
- Transport supplies from storeroom and stock in designated areas
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- Meet with Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels and other information
- Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment and supplies
- Prepare all meals following recipes and yield guides according to department standards
- Inform the Sous Chef of any shortages before the item runs out
- Monitor quality and quantity of mis en place and correct accordingly
- Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and hotel requirements
- Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables
- Transport empty, dirty pots and pans to the designated area
- Breakdown work station and complete closing duties according to department standards
- Review status of work and follow-up actions required with the Sous Chef before leaving
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company controls, policies and federal regulations
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to guests and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
