Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a prep cook at a hotel restaurant or institutional kitchen preferred
- ability to expand and condense recipes
- ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- working knowledge of American Standard Weights and Measures
- proven experience providing a high level of guest service
- at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal
- obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- verify right to work in the United States
- food handlers card
- regularly push or pull up to 75lbs
- frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
- constantly standing and walking
- ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds in person
- ability to distinguish between shades of color
- ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

Job Duties
- Transport supplies from storeroom and stock in designated areas
- meet with Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels, and changes
- inspect cleanliness and working condition of tools, equipment, and supplies
- prepare all meals following recipes and yield guides according to department standards
- inform Sous Chef of any shortages before items run out
- monitor quality and quantity of mise en place and correct accordingly
- maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and hotel requirements
- disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables
- transport empty, dirty pots and pans to designated area
- breakdown work station and complete closing duties according to department standards
- review status of work and follow-up actions required with Sous Chef before leaving
- ensure compliance with applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, Title 31, and federal regulations
- provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to guests and team members
- perform other duties as assigned
