Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain
- Reliable and punctual
- Good physical stamina
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and chef instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Job Duties
- Assist in setting up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes
- Track the components of the appetizer/meal to ensure that the final dish is completed in a timely manner
- Prepare appetizers/meals in accordance with customers' preferences when applicable
- Deliver aesthetically pleasing appetizer presentations
- Inform waitstaff when orders are ready
- Ensure workstation remains clean and orderly at all times
- Monitor inventory to ensure that sufficient supplies are readily available
- Adhere to food safety codes
- Slice meat and/or vegetables as required
- Assure ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption
- Clean workspace after each shift
- Inform the Manager when equipment is due for maintenance, repair, or replacement
