Job Requirements

  • Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • Food safety certification prerequisite
  • Ability to handle physical responsibilities including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • Solid grasp of baking techniques, standards, and compliance with health and safety guidelines
  • Food safety certification prerequisite
  • Solid foundation in math and counting principles
  • Proficient in interpersonal interactions and communication, including strong written and oral skills
  • Ability to handle physical responsibilities including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to uniform standards

Job Duties

  • Bake various pastries and baked items as per standardized recipes and production instructions
  • Organize workstation with all required baking equipment and ingredients
  • Gather materials by quantifying, weighing, combining, cutting as required
  • Engage with baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Adhere to safety precautions when using utensils like knives for food preparation tasks
  • Observe food safety protocols for the correct storage of goods
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, colleagues, and others
  • Adhere to Aramark safety regulations, encompassing specific guidelines for maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain the protection of corporate assets through the implementation of prescribed security measures
