Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand, bend and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use commercial kitchen equipment including mixers
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to work flexible hours including part-time and full-time shifts
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work at a fast pace
  • Reliable and able to multitask
  • Previous pastry or baking experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a commercial freezer environment for short periods
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Using pastry bags to frost cakes of all sizes while adhering to brand and time standards
  • Measuring, mixing ingredients, and using a commercial mixer to make frosting
  • Reading, organizing and fulfilling cake order tickets
  • Using the FIFO method to rotate ingredients and complete tickets
  • Communication between departments to ensure walk-in orders are completed
  • Washing pastry bags, utensils & containers
  • Cleaning & general upkeep of frosting area
  • Receiving & shelving truck shipments
  • Following food service health and safety standards
