Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to stand, bend and walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use commercial kitchen equipment including mixers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work flexible hours including part-time and full-time shifts
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Reliable and able to multitask
- Previous pastry or baking experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a commercial freezer environment for short periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Using pastry bags to frost cakes of all sizes while adhering to brand and time standards
- Measuring, mixing ingredients, and using a commercial mixer to make frosting
- Reading, organizing and fulfilling cake order tickets
- Using the FIFO method to rotate ingredients and complete tickets
- Communication between departments to ensure walk-in orders are completed
- Washing pastry bags, utensils & containers
- Cleaning & general upkeep of frosting area
- Receiving & shelving truck shipments
- Following food service health and safety standards
