Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Previous experience in operational support role at bakery, restaurant or food service environment is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed frosting recipes and techniques
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Can understand written and oral directions
- Able to interpret instructional documents such as recipes, order tickets and operating procedures
- Understands and applies health and safety rules
- Familiar with basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Previous experience in food service or bakery environment is a plus
Job Duties
- Follows NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieves productivity goals
- Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes
- Prioritizes cake pre-orders according to schedule and frosts cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly
- Ensures adherence to health and safety standards in cake preparation and frosting
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the frosting station and equipment
- Collaborates with team members to meet production demands and customer satisfaction
- Monitors inventory levels of frosting and baking supplies and reports shortages
