Job Requirements

  • Must have the flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
  • Ability to understand written and oral instructions
  • Basic knowledge of US measurement units
  • Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

  • Can understand written and oral directions
  • Able to interpret instructional documents such as recipes, order tickets, operating procedures, and health and safety rules
  • Basic knowledge of measurement units used in the United States
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow proprietary recipes and methods
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and team collaboration
  • Prior experience in a food service or bakery environment is a plus

Job Duties

  • Follows NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieves productivity goals
  • Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes
  • Prioritizes cake pre-orders according to schedule and frosts cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly
  • Maintains cleanliness and food safety standards in the preparation area
  • Monitors frosting consistency and quality to ensure top standards
  • Communicates effectively with team members to meet production and customer service demands
  • Adheres to all health and safety regulations and company policies
