Job Requirements
- Must have the flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions
- Basic knowledge of US measurement units
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
Job Qualifications
- Can understand written and oral directions
- Able to interpret instructional documents such as recipes, order tickets, operating procedures, and health and safety rules
- Basic knowledge of measurement units used in the United States
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow proprietary recipes and methods
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and team collaboration
- Prior experience in a food service or bakery environment is a plus
Job Duties
- Follows NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieves productivity goals
- Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes
- Prioritizes cake pre-orders according to schedule and frosts cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly
- Maintains cleanliness and food safety standards in the preparation area
- Monitors frosting consistency and quality to ensure top standards
- Communicates effectively with team members to meet production and customer service demands
- Adheres to all health and safety regulations and company policies
