Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be available Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Must maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving manual dexterity
  • Must comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Located at 7913 N. 10th Street
  • This is not a seasonal position

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous food preparation or bakery experience is beneficial
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow precise recipes and standardized processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good organizational skills to manage inventory and product rotation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Follow NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieve productivity goals
  • Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly
  • Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels
  • Adhere to the proper packaging, labeling and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs
  • Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required
  • Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues
  • Clean, sanitize and restock workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash any equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene
  • Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record
