Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- no formal education required
- previous experience in bakery, restaurant, or foodservice operational support is a plus
- must have flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to follow proprietary recipes and food safety standards
- maintains consistent attendance and punctuality

- Can understand written and oral directions and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities
- understands basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
- has ability to perform repetitious tasks requiring precise movements of arms, wrists, hands and fingers
- possesses physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- is meticulous with measurements, timing, and works under production schedules
- capable of evaluating products and processes for compliance with standards
- disciplined and detail-oriented to follow health and safety practices
- diligent, organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize workload independently
Job Duties
- Follows proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieves productivity goals
- utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixer, and pastry bag to frost cakes
- prioritizes cake pre-orders and frosts cakes for walk-in guest orders
- ensures supply of samples and frosted cakes for display cases and maintains appropriate inventory
- adheres to packaging, labeling, storage, and product rotation standards
- monitors frosting inventory and notifies management when replenishment is needed
- evaluates baked and frosted cakes to meet quality standards and reports issues
- cleans, sanitizes, restocks workstation, prepares supplies for next shift, and washes equipment as needed
- complies with health and safety guidelines and company policies including dress code and hygiene
- maintains consistent attendance and punctuality
