Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- minimum six months hospitality experience or equivalent
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 110 pounds
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop frequently
- ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying conditions
- capability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to use property management systems
- professionalism and friendly demeanor
- teamwork skills
- ability to handle stressful situations and multitask
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- at least six months of hospitality experience or equivalent
- strong guest and customer service skills
- experience with property management system is helpful
- valid driver’s license with an acceptable abstract
- friendly, outgoing personality and professional demeanor
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
- knowledge of local attractions and ability to provide accurate information
- creativity to solve unique guest issues
- ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- ability to input and access information in property management systems
- ability to work harmoniously in a team setting
- highly organized and detail-oriented
- ability to work various days and shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Warmly greet and welcome arriving guests and patrons as the first point of contact
- assist guests with luggage handling including storing and delivering luggage
- organize and deliver luggage for tour groups
- store, track, and deliver packages as needed
- drive and park guest vehicles safely and timely
- retrieve guest vehicles upon request
- assist physically challenged travelers and guests with special needs
- answer the phone courteously and professionally within 2 rings
- keep abreast of local economy and tourism information
- explain room features and operation of electronic devices
- provide accurate information and direction about local attractions and entertainment
- anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
- respond to guest requests via application (ALICE)
- assist with long-term luggage storage requests
- ensure valet experiences meet hotel standards
- collaborate with other departments to address guest issues
- report security or safety problems to supervisor
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- act as the eyes and ears for hotel security
- perform other duties as assigned by management
