Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in front office or hospitality supervisory role
  • familiarity with hotel operational standards and SOPs
  • knowledge of reservation and property management systems
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • commitment to maintaining guest confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of MeyerJabara Journey Philosophy
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • proficiency with hotel PMS and MARSHA reservation systems
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage financial responsibilities within the department
  • experience in safety and security procedures
  • capacity to handle guest service issues and problem resolution

Job Duties

  • manage shift operations of the Front Desk and PBX
  • train and supervise Front Desk and PBX associates
  • ensure outstanding guest service during check-in and check-out processes
  • respond to guest inquiries related to reservations and requests
  • support rate strategies and maximize walk-in revenue potential
  • enforce SOPs and assist FOM and AFOM with departmental directives
  • communicate effectively during shift changes
