Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel front desk or guest services
  • Experience supervising a team or leading a group
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or guest services
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation systems

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies
  • Take reservation requests efficiently
  • Answer switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette
  • Block rooms and handle special requests
  • Monitor room availability and assist AGM and GM in yield management and restrictions
  • Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures
  • Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
