Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • minimum 1 year related work experience
  • minimum 1 year supervisory experience
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds
  • commitment to following company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • at least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency with computers and POS systems
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • customer service orientation
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

  • Process guest check-ins verifying identity and payment
  • assign rooms and issue room keys
  • set up accurate guest accounts and enter Marriott Rewards information
  • ensure rate accuracy and document exceptions
  • secure payment and verify billing
  • compile and review daily reports and contingency lists
  • balance and drop receipts and count bank at shift start and end
  • accommodate guest requests and coordinate with staff
  • assist in training, evaluating, and coaching employees
  • follow company safety and confidentiality protocols
  • communicate clearly with guests and colleagues
  • complete cashier and closing reports
  • notify security of theft reports
  • perform other duties as requested
