Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a front office or supervisory role in hospitality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in property management computer systems
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lead and support a team
  • Customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in front office or hospitality roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficiency with property management systems
  • Knowledge of hotel policies and brand standards
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee workload during shifts of front office associates
  • May train new employees, provide coaching when necessary
  • Maintain working relationships and communicate with all departments
  • Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Update group information and relay to appropriate front office staff
  • Prepare and review daily front desk reports, take action as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and brand standards
  • Operate all aspects of Front Office computer system including software maintenance and report generation
  • Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous at all times
  • Work any needed shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Act as Manager on Duty when required
  • Assist in other hotel areas occasionally
