Job Requirements

  • related experience is required
  • weekend availability required
  • must be or become TIPS certified
  • ability to stand for 8 hours
  • ability to read and maintain a department budget

Job Duties

  • Operate SMS lodging system
  • check-in and checkout large volume of guests
  • manage phone calls from guestrooms and outside lines
  • follow cash handling and banking outlined by general cashier
  • resolve guest concerns at first contact
  • attend departmental meetings
  • follow AHC handbook policies and standard operating procedures
  • actively assist guests and provide guest service
  • ensure quality and level of service meets company standards
  • complete daily responsibilities and cleaning task list
  • report any unusual behavior or issues to management
  • assist with reviews and interviews
  • handle confidential guest information
  • follow hotel green policies
  • ensure trash and recyclables are taken out
  • actively work with department staff
