Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel front desk or guest services role
- availability to work varied shifts including weekends
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- knowledge of local area and amenities
- proficiency in relevant software and technology
- excellent problem-solving skills
- adherence to company dress code and appearance standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience in front desk supervision or a related hospitality role
- knowledge of front desk operations and property management systems such as PMS, MARSHA, MICROS, Saflok, Outlook and Guestware
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to train and develop new staff
- customer service oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction
- understanding of Marriott and AHC front office standard operating procedures
- proficiency in handling financial transactions and cash bank outs
Job Duties
- Supervise front desk staff to ensure that they are adhering to all hotel policies, procedures, regulations and standards, while striving towards guest satisfaction
- perform front desk agent and at your service responsibilities
- responsible for training of new hires and aiding in their development as a front desk agent and at your service agent
- responsible for the efficiently and professionally running of the front desk, including relationships with other departments
- ensure smooth check-in and check-out of all guests, through properly handling guest accounts
- work to complete guest requests and handle guest opportunities at first contact
- complete inventory for office supplies and inform managers when ordering is needed
