Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or guest services
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overnight
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in handling multiple tasks under pressure
- Knowledge of cashiering and payment procedures
- Ability to provide leadership and coaching
- Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA standards
- Capability to operate property management systems
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual attendance record
Job Qualifications
- Experience in Marriott brand or equivalent hospitality environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with FOSSE property management system preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts and handle guest complaints effectively
- Competent in cashiering and accounting processes
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight
- Basic knowledge of safety and OSHA regulations
- Desire to foster a positive team environment
- Bilingual ability desirable but not required
Job Duties
- Serve as initial on-site contact for guest registration and check-out processes
- Provide leadership and guidance to Guest Services Agents and Valet Personnel including training and coaching
- Monitor workflow and assign daily tasks to team members
- Ensure adherence to accounting and cashiering procedures including billing accuracy and reconciliation
- Process various forms of payment including vouchers, credit cards, and foreign currency conversion
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints employing tact and diplomacy
- Coordinate guest requests with other departments such as housekeeping, restaurant, and security
- Provide concierge assistance including information on dining, entertainment, and hotel amenities
- Maintain room inventory integrity and optimize room revenue management
- Enforce safety policies, report potential hazards, and ensure PPE compliance
- Perform administrative support functions related to hotel management
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, and unusual incidents to management
- Supervise, motivate, and coach guest services team
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
