Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and hotel operations
- Ability to use hotel management and payment processing systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- Effective communication skills
- Leadership capability to guide and coach staff
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and diplomacy
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Commitment to safety and compliance policies
- Physical ability to perform job duties
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus but not required

- FOSSE experience preferred

Job Duties
- Initial on site contact for guest registration and check out process and communication of hotel services and information
- Provides guidance and leadership to guest services agents and valet persons whenever necessary
- Works as a trainer and coach for new employees under direction of operations manager
- Provides feedback about performance and work-related issues
- Makes assignments and distributes workload
- Ensures guest services agents review expected arrivals, check guests in/out according to procedures, ensure accurate billing, and make reservations outside hours
- Ensures adherence to accounting and cashiering practices including processing package adjustments, transfers, write offs and disputes
- Receives and records vouchers, credit cards, personal checks, business checks, cash, and other payment forms, converts foreign currency
- Deals effectively with internal and external customers to defuse anger, collects accurate information and resolves conflicts
- Provides concierge assistance with information about dining, recreation, entertainment, shopping, business, travel, and hotel amenities and related reservations
- Coordinates guest requests with other departments such as bell, housekeeping, restaurant, and food and beverage
- Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority and refers matters to management when necessary
- Notifies supervisor and security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- Follows all safety policies and procedures including use of PPE and compliance with HAZMAT program
- Reports potential safety issues and unsafe conditions to management
- Maintains integrity of room inventory and optimizes room revenue
- Performs essential functions of guest services agent as needed
- Supervises, coaches and motivates team
- Performs various administrative functions to support the property and hotel management
- Reports to work as scheduled with a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, overnight, AM and PM shifts
