Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in PC usage, word processing, and data entry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to confidentiality and patient privacy
- Flexibility to work per diem shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred
- Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of PCs, word processing, and data entry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain a calm, friendly demeanor under pressure
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and safety rules
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors and communicate wait times
- Obtain authorizations as needed for patient services
- Check patients in and out using patient management systems according to client protocols
- Explain required forms to patients and ensure proper completion
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct callers appropriately
- File paperwork, medical records, and correspondence following company procedures
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and printed forms
