Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a medical office setting
- strong understanding of medical office procedures scheduling systems and insurance processes
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- proficiency in medical office software and electronic health record systems

Job Duties
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- manage patient appointment scheduling including rescheduling and cancellations
- answer incoming phone calls respond to inquiries and direct calls as needed
- collect and verify patient information including insurance details and demographics
- maintain patient records in the practice management system ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- process patient payments handle billing inquiries and provide receipts for transactions
- coordinate communication between the front office clinical staff and physicians
- monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area
- assist patients with completing required forms and paperwork
- manage office supplies ensuring availability for front office operations
- handle patient concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate issues when necessary
- support the administrative needs of the practice including data entry filing and correspondence
- adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient information and confidentiality
