Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to high school diploma or higher
  • minimum of four years total experience in hotel operations including supervisory roles
  • availability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • excellent customer service orientation
  • capability to handle multiple tasks effectively

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience working in hotels
  • minimum two years in a hotel leadership position such as manager
  • experience in coaching, mentoring, and team building
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to lead and inspire a team
  • knowledge of front office operations and procedures

Job Duties

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front desk and associated functions
  • ensure adherence to established procedures for all related activities by all supervised functions and personnel
  • providing business expertise and strategic perspective to identify, evaluate, develop and drive guest services
  • overseeing and participating in guest registration and check out
  • managing, training, and scheduling the Front Office staff
  • carrying out activities such as night audit review, setting up group billing, making forecasts, controlling and placing orders for supplies, cross-departmental communication required for the smooth functioning of the Front Office
  • acting as a liaison between General Manager and staff
