Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to high school diploma or higher
- minimum of four years total experience in hotel operations including supervisory roles
- availability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- excellent customer service orientation
- capability to handle multiple tasks effectively
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of experience working in hotels
- minimum two years in a hotel leadership position such as manager
- experience in coaching, mentoring, and team building
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to lead and inspire a team
- knowledge of front office operations and procedures
Job Duties
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front desk and associated functions
- ensure adherence to established procedures for all related activities by all supervised functions and personnel
- providing business expertise and strategic perspective to identify, evaluate, develop and drive guest services
- overseeing and participating in guest registration and check out
- managing, training, and scheduling the Front Office staff
- carrying out activities such as night audit review, setting up group billing, making forecasts, controlling and placing orders for supplies, cross-departmental communication required for the smooth functioning of the Front Office
- acting as a liaison between General Manager and staff
